Hello
My name is Angelnafi Joseph, but most people call me Angel. I am a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania studying Psychology and two minors. However, outside of my academics, I love to travel and explore, having been to St. Lucia, Mexico, England, France, Italy, Belgium, Panama, the Netherlands, and many parts of the United States.
My Purpose
During the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to attend the Institut d'Études Francaises de Touraine for five weeks in Tours, France through the financial aid provided by UPenn and the PennCAP Summer Initiative Scholarship. To preserve my memories of my time in France and encourage other limited-income and/or first-generation university students, I created this website to share the experiences that financial aid and the PennCAP Summer Initiative Scholarship were able to provide me.
